Dog park at historic house approved
Planners at Warrington Borough Council have approved a retrospective application to change farmland at a Grade 2 Listed building to a dog exercise park.
The proposal at Stretton House, in Cheshire, also includes a shelter.
The applicants claimed the proposed dog park was part of diversification proposals for the site to help provide funding for the renovation of the Grade 2 Listed building, dating from 1788.
The park is open Monday to Sunday 5am-9pm, has free tea and coffee, and provides a Mud Daddy.
