Dog grooming salon to open in Midlothian football club building

A new dog grooming salon is set to open in a community football club building in Midlothian.

The Tartan Pooch Parlour has been given permission to convert the former caretaker’s flat, on the first floor of the Bonnyrigg Rose Community Centre building, which has been empty for five years.

The plans reveal the new salon has a ‘no barking policy’ and has staff to ‘assist dogs in managing this’.

The salon will be open Tuesdays to Saturdays, between 8am and 5pm, by appointment only.

No objections were lodged to the proposals.
