Dog grooming salon launches in Ashbocking

A dog grooming salon has opened in Ashbocking, Suffolk.

Long Barn Dog Grooming, located at Ashleigh Farm in Helmingham Road, has been opened by friends Natasha Hill and Karen Bright.

Hill told Suffolk News: “We have worked really hard on decorating and renovating the place — so we are very excited.

“We first looked around the premises in August, so its been a long time coming now.”

The salon is located next to a veterinary practice and the businesses are in talks about collaborating on packages, including pre-operation pampering and grooming sessions during recovery periods.

In addition, the business partners plan to offer training for aspiring groomers once the business is established.
