Dog field opens in Northumberland
A new secure site dog field has opened in Northumberland.
Corbridge Dog Field is a 3.5-acre private field located on Owner Toby Speke’s family farm.
Facilities at the dog field include parking, picnic benches, tyres, poles, and a tunnel.
In addition, half of the field’s grass is short and the other half will be kept longer to offer variety for dogs.
Speke told the Hexham Courant: “If your dog is anti-social or chases wildlife or livestock, you can feel safe in the fact your dog cannot get out, but it is over a large enough space your dog can run free. Dog walkers and trainers can use it to train their dogs too.
“We will always be looking at things to improve the experience for dogs and dog owners,” he added.
