Cotswolds dog walking firm forms training partnership
Cotswolds-based dog walking company Woofwolds has formed a new training partnership with The Dog House.
From September, all Woofwolds’ dog handlers will complete a three-day residential course at The Dog House’s site in rural Wales.
The Woofwolds team will learn:
- understanding the four key motivators: food, gameplay, affection, permission;
- detecting ailments and early warning signs;
- public walking safety and hazard awareness;
- basic handling: long sits, threshold etiquette;
- reinforcing good behaviours with confidence;
- leadership presence and “dog magnetism”;
- safe vehicle entry/exit techniques;
- reading canine body language;
- recall & distraction control;
- interrupting negative behaviours with calm authority.
The company said: “This ensures every Woofwolds handler is trusted, compassionate, and expertly trained, setting a new benchmark in luxury dog care across the UK.”
