Cotswolds dog walking firm forms training partnership

Cotswolds-based dog walking company Woofwolds has formed a new training partnership with The Dog House.

From September, all Woofwolds’ dog handlers will complete a three-day residential course at The Dog House’s site in rural Wales.

The Woofwolds team will learn:

  • understanding the four key motivators: food, gameplay, affection, permission;
  • detecting ailments and early warning signs;
  • public walking safety and hazard awareness;
  • basic handling: long sits, threshold etiquette;
  • reinforcing good behaviours with confidence;
  • leadership presence and “dog magnetism”;
  • safe vehicle entry/exit techniques;
  • reading canine body language;
  • recall & distraction control;
  • interrupting negative behaviours with calm authority.

The company said: “This ensures every Woofwolds handler is trusted, compassionate, and expertly trained, setting a new benchmark in luxury dog care across the UK.”
