Cotswold farm wants to open dog walking facility
A Cotswold farm is seeking planning permission for a dog-walking field.
Applicants MS and P Slinger, of Edgehill Bungalow at the village of Edge, near Painswick, want to turn a pasture field into a venue for dog walkers.
The facility, which is gently sloping and features a stream and wooded area, would be open every day of the week from 7am to 7pm. It would be used, if approved, up to seven times a day on average. A proposal for timetabling would allow for a 10 minute changeover period.
The applicants told planners they were “looking for an opportunity to add a diversified income to their business, this offers that opportunity without detracting from the farming enterprise or requiring significant large investment to establish”.
