Butcher’s secures £43m funding

Butcher’s Pet Care is to develop its product offerings and manufacturing capabilities after securing a £43m funding package with Secure Trust Bank Commercial Finance and Blazehill Capital.

The company, which was established in 1983 by Graham Baker, has sought to capitalise on market growth and in recent years.

Tim Watsham Chief Executive of Butcher’s Pet Care, said: “The executive team were clear that the company must continue to invest in our brand and manufacturing capabilities as well as our new product offerings, including our fast growing cat food brand, Blink!.”
