Bruce’s gets green light for Somerset centre

Bruce’s Doggy Daycare has secured planning permission for a new centre near Keynsham, Somerset.

An acre of arable land at Middlepiece Lane, Burnett, will provide care for up to 48 dogs.

The change of use includes buildings adapted from shipping containers – a reception and two dog barns – and there will be ‘natural apparatus’, such as log piles and tree trunks, for the dogs to play on.

In addition, there will be a small car park and dogs will be collected and dropped off using three dog buses.

The centre will operate between 8am and 5.30pm, Monday to Friday.
