Blackpool Council seeks views on dog controls
Blackpool Council is seeking views on its dog control and dog fouling public space protection order ahead of it proposed renewal.
Dog walkers found to be in breach of the PSPO could receive a £100 Fixed Penalty Notice or, if prosecuted, could face a fine of up to £1,000.
A spokesperson for the council said: “We want to know how much of a problem dog control and dog fouling are to you and whether the current protection order should be renewed.
“We want to know your views on the current Public Space Protection Order (PSPO) that is in place for dog controls across Blackpool.”
The consultation, which ends on 27 October, can be found here.
