Blackburn dog grooming salon plan approved
Plans to open a dog grooming salon in a domestic garage in Blackburn, Lancashire, have been approved.
Applicant Tara Finn has been given the go-ahead to turn the rear half of the garage in Thistle Trail, Livesey, into a space for dog grooming.
The only external alteration related to the plans is the insertion of a door within the gable wall of the property.
The facility is set to groom up to four dogs per day, over a period of four to five days per week, excluding Sunday use.
Eleven neighbours were consulted by letter and no comments were received.
Darwen Council granted planning permission for the change with four conditions including one limiting the use to the hours of 9am to 6pm, Monday to Saturday.
