Bedfordshire village set for new doggy daycare
Souldrop, Bedfordshire, could soon get a new doggy daycare after plans were submitted to the local authority.
The site in Pools Lane currently consists of a four-bedroom bungalow, outbuildings – including stables, a garage and workshops/stores – and horse paddocks.
The plans will see the existing horse paddock and shed on the adjacent field, away from the existing dwelling and outbuildings used for a canine development centre for up to 20 dogs.
Separate areas will allow dogs to be split up if necessary and a new 2.5m high closeboard timber fence will combat any associated noise.
The centre will offer a collection service to help keep visitors to the site to a minimum.
The consultation will expire on 20 July.
