Arbroath farmer seeks permission for dog park
An Arbroath farmer is seeking planning permission for a secure dog park in a field near Arbirlot.
Farmers G B Patullo & Sons want to use part of a field at Mains of Kelly for the new exercise area, which covers less than half a hectare, and would be enclosed by 1.8 metre high deer fencing.
The operating hours would be 8am to 9pm and maximum of six dogs and/or three walkers would be permitted per booking.
A parking area for six cars would be created, including a secure area for dogs being released from vehicles, and the facility would have a wooden shelter for dog walkers.
If Angus Council approves the application it would be one of the first dog parks in the area.
