Dog walking and sitting service launches in Huddersfield

A new dog walking and setting service has launched in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.

Bark & Stroll Owner Lauren Maher had worked in human resources for three years, but when she was made redundant she decided on a career and lifestyle change.

Maher told Huddersfield Hub: “I decided to re-evaluate my career and decided that it was a blessing in disguise to be able to now choose a path towards something I have always loved, caring for animals.

“I have been animal, and especially dog, obsessed for as long as I can remember. Six months after we bought our house together, my now fiancé surprised me with our beautiful dog Soxs and she turned my whole world technicolour.”
