Argoed dog park plans approved
Caerphilly County Borough Council has approved plans to turn farmland in Argoed into a dog walking facility.
The plans, by applicant Kathryn Johnson, covers two fields at Long Barn, Argoed Uchaf Farm. They also include the construction of two timber shelters, the conversion of an existing stable into an office, and the erection of a two-metre high outer fence and a one-metre inner fence.
Customers will be able to book 45-minute sessions for a single person and up to five dogs, parking will be available.
During a public consultation on the planning application, no members of the public lodged any objections to the proposals.
The council’s planning committee agreed to grant planning permission, subject to several conditions, including strict opening hours.
