Leicestershire dog park approved despite residents’ fears
A new dog training park in Appleby Magna, Leicestershire, has secured planning permission despite fears of “extra noise”.
Applicants Edward and Katie Garland plan to turn agricultural land, off the Jubilee Business Park in Appleby Magna’s Snarestone Road, into a dog walking/training area with car parking.
Local residents raised concerns about noise from the training park, but the council said that refusing the plan on the noise concerns could “not be justified”.
The facility will be open between 7am and 8.30pm in the week and 9am to 6pm at weekends.
