Suffolk dog park plans given green light
Plans for a new dog exercise field in Little Bealings, Suffolk, have been approved.
LW Rolph & Son applied to East Suffolk Council to convert the use of agricultural land off The Street.
The planning documents say: “A small wooden shelter will be erected near the access to the dog field to provide users with a place of refuge in poorer weather conditions.”
The plans add: “The field will be open for use during daylight hours; therefore times will vary throughout the year with longer hours in summer months and shorter hours during winter.”
East Suffolk Council gave the scheme the go-ahead despite the concerns from community leaders who were worried the dog park would affect neighbouring properties.
