Colchester Council approves Tiptree grooming salon plans

A new dog grooming salon is set to open in Tiptree, Essex, after Colchester Council approved plans to change the use of an existing private gym.

The plans were supported by Tiptree Parish Council and received no public objections.

However, one condition of the approval is the business shall not operate outside 8am and 6pm on weekdays and 8am and 1pm on Saturdays. Use is not permitted on Sundays or public holidays. In addition, sound insulation must be installed at the site.

Essex Highways also recommended the applicant submit a scheme of off-road parking and turning for cars for domestic and business purposes.
