North Wales doggy daycare seeks retrospective planning permission

An application to change a former stable at Llandyrnog in Denbighshire, North Wales, into a doggy daycare has been submitted.

Applicant Catrin Davies has retrospectively applied to Denbighshire County Council’s planning department seeking for a change of use of Wern Stables, near Dre Goch Junction, for Beti Bach’s Doggy Daycare.

The application says the company’s kennels are fitted with anti-barking devices and that noise levels were monitored by a digital sound level metre to ensure that no noise nuisance occurs.

If approved, the business will continue to operate Monday to Friday 7.30am – 6pm. and remain closed at weekends. The centre, which employes three people, takes a maximum of 15 dogs per day.

The planning application will be debated by councillors at a future planning committee meeting.
