Former wine bar could be turned into dog grooming spa
A former wine bar in Colne, Lancashire, could become a dog grooming spa if plans lodged with the council get the green light.
Pet Angels owner, Lisa Collinge, submitted the plans to Pendle Council in December last year, proposing the change of the premises from a former wine bar with living accommodation to a dog grooming business with commercial business spaces across the two floors and the basement.
“The property comprises a former Wine Bar at ground floor with beer and wine cellar. The first and second floor is currently vacant and provided living accommodation,” the planning statement said.
“The works will have no detrimental impact on the building and its surroundings and the new occupancy will prolong the life of the building with ongoing maintenance,” it added.
