Vegan pet-food brand The Pack raises £835k in seed round

Vegan pet-food firm The Pack has raised £835,000 in a seed funding round, with backers including the Mars Petcare division’s Leap Venture Studio & Academy accelerator.

Other backers include Scelta Mycofriends, Veg Capital and Kale United.

“2023 is set to be an exciting year for THE PACK with new retail listings our new oven baked complete dried food and a very exciting new release coming on the 1st Jan,” Founder Damien Clarkson said.

The company says its recipes are formulated by animal nutritionists, food technologists, food scientists, and its manufacturer to be “100% nutritionally complete”.
