Bolton welcomes new dog park

A new enclosed play space for dogs has opened in Doffcocker in Bolton, Greater Manchester.

Pet Fields Bolton, off Walker Fold Road, provides a fenced half-acre space with agility equipment – including ramps, tunnels and hurdles – balls and frisbees, water bowls, poo bags and a bin. The site, which enclosed by a 6ft fence and has a locked gate, can be booked out.

The husband and wife team behind Pet Fields Bolton, Karl and Abi Neale, started the business to create a safe space for their dog Bella. They said there was a need for a new dog park in the area because existing local parks were regularly booked up.

Karl told The Bolton News: “We just hope people are as happy with it and impressed. Then we want to get a bit more equipment in we hope.”#
