Healthy Pet Store adds dog trainer to its team

Southampton retailer Healthy Pet Store is employing a professional dog trainer to improve the knowledge of its in-store team and to provide owners with the most up-to-date advice.

The retailer has added Hampshire trainer Anita Takacs, a professional dog trainer and body language instructor, to its customer advisor team.

Takacs’ business Fun Staffy Dog Training offers courses on puppy training, terrific teens, common dog behavioural issues, and enrichment games.

Healthy Pet Store Managing director, Deborah Burrows, said: “Anita has been a real asset to the team. We want to support, advise and guide caregivers as much as we can, and Anita has really ramped up our expertise.

“Being able to offer the best customer service and advice is crucial to our ethos because the wellbeing of pets is at the heart of everything we do.”
