Norfolk salon doubles in size
Dog grooming salon Terrington Tails in Terrington St Clement, Norfolk, has doubled in size to enable it to offer tooth cleaning treatments and a service for cats and other small animals.
Salon owner Jo Wallace has worked in the industry for about five years and rented a table at the Marshland Street salon when it was in the hands of previous owners and bought the salon just before the first Covid lockdown.
Wallace has now taken over the upper floor of the premises in Marshland Street so she can expand the business and has also revamped the ground floor and added new equipment.
It gave Wallace the opportunity to introduce space for tooth cleaning treatments and to be able to offer a grooming service for cats and other small animals.
Wallace told Lynn News: “Having doubled the size of the salon, we now have the space to expand, offer more treatments and welcome small animals.”
She added: “They are separate from the dogs so it is very chilled and relaxing for them and their owners who can sit and wait in our small reception area.
“Our priority is safety and making sure that the animal is chilled and enjoys the treatment.”
