Dog park for nervous and reactive dogs wins approval

Plans for a dog park for nervous and reactive dogs in Gloucestershire have been approved.

Jessi Pywell has been granted permission by Forest of Dean District Council to change the use of 4.6 acres of land to the north of Castleford Hill Road, in Tutshill.

The field will be split into three separate sections with the main field for dog walking, a puppy paddock, and a car parking area that will have four spaces.

The dog walking will work on a booking system with two cars at the site at any one time and bookings would operate on a 45-minute booking slot. A maximum of five dogs will use the facility at any one time and the opening hours will be during daylight hours.
