BBC markets dog training classes for Father’s Day

The BBC marketed an £80 dog training course as an ideal Father’s Day present, with a gift voucher for sale.

Dog Training with Steve Mann, a 30-lesson course covering puppy training, loose-lead walking, and separation anxiety, has become one of the most popular courses on the online learning platform BBC Maestro. The four-hour course also comes with 83 pages of notes.

Mann, who has more than 30 years’ experience, has trained dogs to work with security services in the Middle East.

Michael Levine, managing director of BBC Maestro, told the I newspaper: “We saw dramatic growth in online learning and this has continued, leading out of the pandemic.”
