Company of Animals launches ‘next generation’ of basket muzzles
Company of Animals has introduced a new basket muzzle under its Baskerville brand.
Invisa, which is made from durable thermoplastic rubber, has a transparent design that reduces the stigma associated with traditional muzzles.
The clear basket design also helps dogs, vets, groomers and owners to perceive facial expressions and subtle signs from the dog.
Engineered using computer optimisation techniques, Invisa is lighter and stronger than traditional muzzles, with a 360° padded basket for enhanced comfort. The reflective V-shaped strap ensures a secure yet comfortable fit, eliminating the need for a head strap.
In addition, Invisa includes a removable guard to prevent unwanted behaviours like food scavenging and licking. However, it allows dogs to pant, drink, and take treats.
Emily Mugford, Chief Executive at Company of Animals, said: “We believe every dog and owner deserves to feel confident and comfortable in public spaces. With Baskerville Invisa, we’ve reimagined the traditional basket muzzle, combining transparency to reduce stigma, advanced materials for durability, and an ergonomic design to prioritise canine well-being.”
