Bruce’s boss secures top business award
Bruce’s Chief Executive and Founder Bruce Casalis has been recognised by the Surrey 40 Under 40 Business Awards, which celebrate talent in the region.
Casalis, who established the doggy daycare business in 2008, sits on the board of directors for the Pet Industry Federation and has acted as an advisor for DEFRA, Dogs Trust, and RSPCA.
The award winners were nominated by their industry peers and their applications were supported by testimonials and case studies that explained how they have made a significant improvement to their business, the local economy, the environmental impact of their organisation, or the region in general.
He said: “What we’ve achieved is a team effort, so a very big shout out to Ben Mann, our Operations Director, who joined me here and has been a key part of the journey over the last five years.”
Sam Marshall, Economy Lead at Invest in Surrey, said: “We’re extremely proud to showcase the immense talent and innovation that Surrey has to offer. Invest in Surrey is here to accelerate this county’s prosperity and facilitate growth. These awards show our commitment to helping businesses in the Surrey region to thrive and succeed.”
Bruce’s is currently looking to expand into new locations, across the South East and the rest of the UK, including St Albans, Oxford, Iver, Epping, Brentwood, Windsor, Cambridge, Guildford, Wentworth, and Beaconsfield.
