A mobile dog groomer in Warwick, West Midlands, is being allowed set up shop at various spots in the local area. Warwick District Council’s licensing and regulatory committee has approved a ‘street trading consent’ for the Dog Wash Trailer, which allows the business to sell its dog washing service anywhere within Warwick district. The business, which is owned by Ben O’Malley, offers two services – home visits and pop-up location events. During the winter months, the pop-up location events offer a warm hydro-bath to clean the dogs, and during the summer months the unit is repurposed to offer a cooling dog bath. Usually a street trading licence only allows a mobile business to stay in one place for up to 15 minutes. However, councillors asked for this to be removed.
