Plans for a new doggy daycare in a vacant industrial unit in Soham, Cambridgeshire, have been approved. The plans sought permission to convert Unit 77, Ashley Industrial Estate, Mereside, in Soham, into a facility offering hydrotherapy and grooming services. In addition, off-site dog walking services will be provided throughout the day, with dogs transported to local sites to provide access to larger green spaces. A number of internal changes to the unit have been proposed, including a new reception and waiting area and grooming station. Daycare zones, a dog food preparation kitchen, hydrotherapy room and staff facilities are also planned. Three customer parking spaces will be allocated, with overflow parking provided within the industrial estate’s shared access area.
