Plans for a new dog park in Pudsey, West Yorkshire, have been approved.

Applicant Miss A Jennings sought permission to change the use of agricultural land at Alder Drive for the facility, which will have 10 parking spaces.

The proposals had received five objections from local residents about highways safety, parking and suitability of access.

Leeds City Council approved the plans with conditions that the dog park can only be used by one group at any one time, with a maximum of eight people at any one time, and that it should only be operated by a pre-booking system. In addition, that there should be a 30-minute interval between each session and/or booking.
