Multi-service pet care specialist Petpals Stockport & Cheadle, in Greater Manchester, has a new leader. Janine Williams, who has spent more than a decade working in childcare, now heads the business that has been established for more than 20 years Her journey into Petpals began by reaching out to see if there were any dog walking opportunities available locally. From there, she shadowed previous owner Claire Hurr, joining dog walks and cat visits with the team. Williams, who is fully trained, insured, uniformed and DBS checked, said: “I absolutely loved it. It doesn’t feel like work when you’re out walking through fields or forests with dogs. “I got to see what the role was really like day-to-day and I just knew I could see myself doing it full-time. Taking over the business felt like the natural next step.” Williams has retained much of the experienced team built by the previous owner, ensuring continuity and reassurance for both pets and their owners.
