Petpals Darlington, in County Durham, has marked its 20th anniversary. The franchise marked its anniversary with a community celebration, bringing together more than 40 members of staff alongside the clients and pets. Owner David Gray said: “It’s rare you get a moment to step back and see the bigger picture. When you do, you realise just how many relationships sit behind a business like this – it’s not just about the pets we care for, but the trust people place in us every day.” He added: “Our team – past and present – have put in a huge amount over the years, and our clients have supported us every step of the way. We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who’s helped build Petpals Darlington into what it is today.” In addition, Petpals Darlington supported the Paws Aboard charity dog walk in aid of St Teresa’s Hospice. Alongside promoting the walk, the team contributed on the day and handed out Petpals goody bags. Gray said: “We’ve always believed being part of the community means showing up for it. Supporting something like Paws Aboard, where there’s a real local impact, is just as important to us as the work we do day in, day out.” The franchise has launched a new community competition, which offers pet owners the chance to win a professional photoshoot tov become the new face of Petpals Darlington.
