Paws & Pals in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, is marking its fourth anniversary.

The business, founded by Corinne Waite, is marking the occasion with a birthday party for the public.

The event will feature a charity dog show, a photographer, a Q&A with a behaviourist, talks by a pet physio, canine first aid talks with Huddersfield-based Purple Dog, stalls and dog activities, such as a sniff zone and treat bobbing.

Paws & Pals, based at Britannia Mills in Stoney Battery Road, launched in 2018 with dog walking and then opened its day care centre next to the River Colne in June 2022.

Waite told Huddersfield Hub: “We’ve come so far in just four years and we want to celebrate our achievements.”

Paws & Pals won Dog Day Care of the Year for the Northern Region at the Animal Star Awards last year.
