Staff at Lady and the Tramp Groomers in Cleadon, Sunderland, narrowly escaped death after a car hit the salon earlier this week. The grooming salon, located at 7 Southend, was hit by a car ‘at very high speed’ in the morning of 8 July. The business said: “We all nearly got killed – literally not an exaggeration – but thankfully we are all ok and more importantly the dogs are all ok. A bit traumatised and shaken up but miraculously all ok. Thank God.” The dog groomers added: “So very sorry to people who have appointments, but will hopefully be up and running very soon. Will keep you all posted.” Northumbria Police told the BBC that the driver of the car “has been assisting” officers. Do you have news for The Canine Times?
